Our mission is to assign one Prayer Partner to every Law Enforcement Officer in the state of Nevada. This is a very ambitious task, but we figured why swing for what we can see, when our faith lies beyond the fence, where our sights are set on God.
We whole-heartedly believe that while a bulletproof vest gives a level of protection for our officers, an even greater blessing and shield of protection can be found in the power of a faithful, intersession-praying believer.
Our mission is focused primarily on prayer and the power that it possesses. Believe that your involvement and commitment to make a difference in our community, starts with prayer.
We will match you as soon as possible, but if you are already in contact with an officer that you would like to pray for, please list his/her contact information below and we will match you with the requested officer. But please feel free to reach out to local officers and ask them to join us and receive our prayer protection. If you are interested, please click here for the Prayer Partner Participation Form.
ADOPT-A-COP NEVADA MINISTRY COMMITMENTS
To pray EVERY DAY for your officer.
To reach out to your officer once or twice a month. Officers are contacted only by their requested mode of communication: Email, Text Messages, Phone and they have the option to not receive any communication at all.
Only send encouraging words and express appreciation in your communication with the officer. You may include Scriptures if you desire.
Please do not attempt to evangelize or preach. We are providing prayer coverage and support only.
